A 17-year-old Romanian national has died from injuries sustained in a crash that occurred on August 2 in Limassol.
Police said Mario Gabriel passed away on Tuesday morning while receiving treatment at a private hospital in Limassol.
The teenager had remained hospitalised since suffering serious injuries in the road collision.
Police investigation continues
According to police, the crash occurred under circumstances that remain under investigation.
The 17-year-old was riding a motorcycle when it collided with a car driven by a 37-year-old man.
The Limassol Traffic Department is continuing its investigation into the circumstances of the fatal collision.
