Young men escape from Athalassa Hospital – found hours later in Paphos

Authorities were mobilised following a double escape from Athalassa Hospital in Nicosia.

According to reports, two Greek Cypriot men, aged 27 and 22, escaped from the mental health institution on Wednesday afternoon.

The two young men were located and apprehended on Wednesday evening in Paphos and have since been transferred back to the hospital to continue their treatment.
