The Department of Meteorology has issued a yellow warning for thunderstorms.
The warning is in effect from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
According to the Department, isolated strong thunderstorms are expected at intervals, initially in western areas and gradually spreading to other regions.
Hail is also expected during storms, while winds will be variable and strengthen at times.
Rainfall intensity may locally exceed 35 millimeters per hour.
