Police in Larnaca have arrested a 34-year-old man following the violent abduction of a woman.
At around 8:20 p.m. on Wednesday, authorities received a report of an unknown man assaulting a woman in a parking area and forcing her into a vehicle.
Investigations identified the suspect as a local resident. Officers located both the man and the woman at his home.
During their arrival, the suspect attacked the police and was arrested on the spot.
He is expected to appear in court today, facing charges including kidnapping, assault, malicious damage, and assaulting a police officer.
