Van fire in Limassol causes engine damage

A van caught fire yesterday, shortly before midnight, in Limassol.

According to Fire Service Spokesperson Andreas Kettis, the van was parked in an apartment building parking area in Germasogeia. The fire caused damage to the engine compartment.

Authorities confirmed that no one was at risk during the blaze, and the apartment building did not require evacuation.

Investigation to follow

Fire officials will investigate the cause of the fire later today.
