US FDA investigates possible deaths from COVID vaccines

Date:

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) now investigates possible deaths linked to COVID-19 vaccines in children and adults. A spokesperson for Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. confirmed the probe to AFP on Tuesday.

Kennedy, a prominent vaccine sceptic, took office under President Donald Trump and quickly began overhauling US vaccination policy. Critics increasingly accuse his team of politicising health agencies. HHS spokesperson Andrew Nixon told reporters the FDA is conducting “a thorough investigation” across all age groups but refused to reveal data sources or possible policy changes.

“The FDA conducts an in-depth investigation across all age groups into possible vaccine-related deaths,” said Health Ministry spokesperson Andrew Nixon.

Large-scale global studies repeatedly prove the vaccines’ safety and effectiveness. Rare serious side effects occur, yet authorities worldwide agree the benefits far outweigh the risks for most people.

Dr Vinay Prasad, FDA chief medical and scientific officer, wrote in a leaked memo last month that authorities coerced healthy young children, who faced extremely low COVID mortality risk, into vaccination through school and work mandates under the Biden administration.

Prasad claimed an initial FDA analysis of 96 reported post-vaccination deaths identified 10 cases directly linked to COVID-19 vaccination. He stressed that COVID “was never highly lethal for children” and compared its effects to common respiratory viruses that do not require annual vaccines.

Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. previously called COVID vaccines “the deadliest ever made” and falsely claimed the virus ethnically targeted certain groups while sparing Ashkenazi Jews and Chinese people.
