US and UK airstrikes in Yemen

Date:

A series of airstrikes targeted locations in the Amran and Saada provinces of Yemen, reported early this morning by the Al Masirah television network, which is affiliated with the Houthi rebel movement, attributing the strikes to US and British armed forces.

If confirmed, this would mark the second consecutive night of US airstrikes in Yemen. On the night of Saturday into Sunday, Houthi advanced weapons storage facilities were targeted, as confirmed by a senior official at the US Pentagon. Al Masirah reported three bombings in the suburbs of the capital, Sana’a.
