Two injured in violent Larnaca break-in and knife assault

Police are investigating an assault on residents of an apartment in Larnaca, during which two individuals were injured with a knife.

According to preliminary information, at around 10:40 p.m. yesterday, a group of individuals reportedly forced entry into an apartment in Larnaca and attacked its five occupants.

Two residents, aged 21 and 29, sustained injuries in the attack and were taken to Larnaca General Hospital. They were found to have multiple lacerations, believed to have been caused by a knife. After receiving first aid, they were discharged.

The Larnaca Criminal Investigation Department (CID) is handling the case.
