Two suspects, aged 44 and 26, face five-day detention ordered by the Larnaca District Court following a YKAN anti-narcotics operation yesterday. YKAN executed a coordinated search in Larnaca, targeting the 44-year-old’s residence under warrant.
Officers seized approximately 42 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 29 MDMA ecstasy pills, 14 grams of cannabis plant material, two precision scales with residue traces, smoking paraphernalia, and €240 cash.
Caught in the act
During the raid, the 26-year-old arrived at the residence intending to purchase methamphetamine and was arrested on site under warrant for questioning. Both men appeared in the Larnaca District Court on Sunday morning.
The court approved the police request, remanding them for five days to facilitate investigation by YKAN’s Larnaca provincial unit.
