The two 28-year-old Georgian nationals believed by police to have played a central role in the murder of Stavros Demosthenous were committed this morning for direct trial before the Limassol Permanent Assize Court.
The trial of all six defendants in the case is set for 29 January 2026.
Under heavy security, the two 28-year-olds appeared before the court today. Prosecutors revealed that sunglasses and caps belonging to them were recovered from the crime scenes.
The remaining four co-accused were also committed for trial on the same date.
All six face charges linked to the premeditated killing of Demosthenous.
