Troodos rush sparks traffic chaos at Akaki and Peristerona

Heavy traffic is reported on the Nicosia–Troodos road, compounded by a malfunction affecting the traffic lights at the Akaki and Peristerona junctions, which are currently out of service.

Police officers are stationed at both junctions to manage traffic flow and provide assistance, while efforts are underway to resolve the issue promptly.

Drivers are urged to exercise caution and patience, maintaining safe distances from the vehicles ahead.
