Traffic delays are being reported on the Nicosia-Limassol motorway near the Dali Industrial Area, with congestion affecting traffic towards Nicosia, Limassol and Larnaca.
Heavy traffic was reported at around 12.30pm on Wednesday.
Right lanes closed in both directions
The congestion is linked to cleaning works being carried out on the motorway’s central reservation.
As a result, the right-hand lane remains closed in both directions near the Dali Industrial Area.
The works are affecting traffic flow towards Nicosia, Limassol and Larnaca.
Police urge caution
Police are urging drivers passing through the area to exercise particular caution.
Motorists are advised to reduce their speed, drive carefully and maintain a safe distance from vehicles ahead.
