The Greek Citizens’ Solidarity Network Cyprus will organise a Tempi accident protest on Saturday, 28 February at 17:00, marking three years since the deadly crash at Tempi.
Event details
The protest will take place at Eleftheria Square in Nicosia and will feature speeches alongside performances by a small number of artists.
The event aligns with ongoing demonstrations in Greece and actions by the Association of Relatives of Tempi Victims, who continue to campaign for justice as court proceedings progress.
Solidarity across Europe
This demonstration coincides with similar events across Greece and other European cities, under the central slogan:
“Their profits or our lives!”
The protest aims to honour the victims and raise awareness about railway safety and accountability.
