Temperatures in Cyprus remain stuck at summer-like levels, with the Meteorological Department reporting that they will stay above the seasonal average over the next few days.
Today, the temperature will reach around 29°C inland, as well as along the southern and eastern coasts, about 27°C on the western and northern coasts, and 22°C in the higher mountains. The weather will be mostly clear, though some increased cloud cover is expected at times in the west.
Winds will blow mainly from the northeast to southeast and later from the northwest in western areas, light to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to slightly rough.
Tonight, the weather will remain mostly clear with light to occasionally moderate northwesterly to northeasterly winds, again at 3 to 4 Beaufort. Temperatures will drop to 13°C inland, around 17°C on the coasts, and 9°C in the higher mountains.
Friday will also be mostly clear, while over the weekend there will be intervals of increased high cloud. According to the latest Cyprus weather forecast, no significant change in temperature is expected through Sunday, with conditions remaining warmer than the seasonal average.
