A 10-year-old boy in Limassol experienced a frightening moment on Monday afternoon when an unknown individual approached him outside his school.
According to police, the boy’s mother reported that the stranger offered to take her son home, claiming he knew the child’s mother.
Child’s response
The pupil refused the offer and walked home on foot. His home is located a short distance from the school.
Police action
Police officers visited the school both on Monday and Tuesday to carry out investigations. The school administration has been informed of the report.
Authorities are working to secure testimony, while it is still under investigation whether the suspect was on foot or using a vehicle.
