Stabbing after violent clash in Nicosia – Three arrested

Three individuals, aged 18, 19 and 20, were arrested by Nicosia Police following a violent altercation that ended in a stabbing on Thursday night.

According to a Police spokesperson, authorities received a report at around 8:20 p.m. of a fight involving foreign nationals in Nicosia. During the incident, one man allegedly stabbed another.

Officers arrived at the scene and found two injured individuals, aged 19 and 20. The 19-year-old had a knife embedded in his right shoulder, while the 20-year-old had facial abrasions.

A third man, aged 18, was located nearby and taken to the Central Police Station. He was identified by the stabbing victim as the attacker.

All three men were taken to Nicosia General Hospital for treatment and were later discharged. They were arrested under court-issued warrants and remain in custody to assist with the investigation.

The case is being handled by Nicosia Central Police Station.
