Settle traffic camera fines by 31 March or face prosecution

Citizens can now electronically access all outstanding fines issued by the traffic camera system. Failure to settle these fines by 31 March will result in an immediate criminal file being opened, leading to prosecution.

To check for outstanding traffic fines from speed cameras, citizens can visit the website cycamerasystem.com.cy.

How to check fines:

  1. Click the “Login” button to access the main page.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the field that reads “Search for Pending Incidents.”
  3. Fill out the form to locate outstanding fines:
    • In the first field, select the identification method (Cypriot ID, Alien Registration Number, or passport).
    • In the second field, enter the identification number of the vehicle owner.
    • In the third field, input the vehicle’s registration number.
  4. Press “Search” to view fines, including the violation number, date, and exact time.

Payment and details:

According to Traffic Police Deputy Chief Charis Evripidou:

  • To pay a fine, use the violation number and proceed to the JCC website to complete payment.
  • For additional details, vehicle owners can call 80008009. The owner will be provided with a specific code, allowing them to view the violation details.

Avoid delays and settle your fines before the deadline to prevent legal consequences.
