Saudi Arabia: Greek Patriot systems intercept Houthi ballistic missiles

A Greek Patriot missile battery deployed in Saudi Arabia intercepted two ballistic missiles launched from Yemen on Saturday.

According to sources from Greece’s Ministry of National Defence, the attack occurred at 07:15 Cyprus time on 25 July.

The missiles targeted a major oil refinery facility in the Yanbu region, where the Greek Patriot battery is currently stationed as part of its air defence mission.
