Today, the weather will gradually become partly cloudy, and isolated showers are expected, mainly in the afternoon. Winds will blow mainly northeast to southeast, light and occasionally locally moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be slight to moderate. Temperatures will rise to 19°C inland, around 21°C on the coasts, and 12°C in the higher mountains.
Tonight, increased low clouds will be observed at times. Gradually, light mist or fog is expected to form in the eastern half of the island. Winds will blow northeast to southeast, light, at 3 Beaufort, and the sea will be slight to moderate. Temperatures will drop to 9°C inland, around 11°C on the coasts, and 4°C in the higher mountains, where localised frost may form.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, the weather will be mostly clear, although locally increased clouds are expected in the afternoon. On Thursday, the weather will be partly cloudy, with the possibility of isolated showers.
Temperatures are not expected to undergo any significant change and will remain above average climatic values.
The snow depth on the highest peaks of Troodos, at the time of the bulletin’s release, was 12 centimetres.
