Pride march held in occupied Nicosia – Call for equality and inclusion

The pride march took place in occupied Nicosia under the slogan “love for the homeland, love for the whole world”, drawing participants carrying rainbow flags, banners and slogans.

The event highlighted demands for equal rights for the LGBTQI+ community, with organisers and participants calling for stronger protections and inclusive policies.

Calls to end discrimination

During the pride march, demonstrators stressed that LGBTQI+ individuals continue to face serious inequalities in access to education, healthcare and employment.

They also called for the immediate implementation of more inclusive anti-discrimination policies.

The event concluded with renewed calls for equality and human rights across all communities.
