Police are searching for a second suspect in connection with an attempted murder case that took place in Limasosol on 20 December 2025.
According to authorities, ALI TLAIS, a 20-year-old Lebanese national, is wanted to assist with investigations into the attempted murder, which occurred in Limassol. Police have released his details and are appealing to the public for information that may help locate him.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Limassol CID on 25-805057, their nearest police station, or the Citizen’s Line on 1460.
Attack involved taser and knife
The incident occurred on Sunday, 20 December, at around 7pm, when a 36-year-old man was standing outside a café in Limassol.
According to police, the victim was attacked by a group of individuals who initially used electronic stun devices. One of the assailants then allegedly produced a sharp object and stabbed the victim in the chest.
Police spokesman Andreas Kyriakou said the injured man was taken to a private hospital, where he underwent surgery and was intubated. His condition was described as serious.
Another suspect also wanted
Police have also issued a wanted notice for MOHAMAD TLEIS, a 30-year-old Lebanese national, in relation to the same attempted murder Limassol investigation.
The Limassol Criminal Investigation Department continues examinations as authorities work to identify and locate all individuals involved in the attack.
