Peloponnese Wine Festival returns to Limassol in February

The Cyprus Peloponnese Wine Festival returns to Limassol on February 2, 2026, bringing the contemporary identity and growing momentum of Peloponnese wine to the forefront.

Hosted at Carob Mill, the full-day event will gather 25 selected wineries from Greece’s largest vineyard region, offering wine professionals, hospitality representatives, journalists and enthusiasts a comprehensive introduction to modern Greek winemaking.

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore PDO and PGI wines, emblematic indigenous grape varieties and innovative expressions shaped by the Peloponnese’s diverse terroirs.

The programme also includes a masterclass and curated tastings led by Cyprus’s only Master Sommelier, Sotiris Neofytidis MS, reinforcing the festival’s role as a key meeting point for discovering current trends and future directions in Greek wine.

The Cyprus Peloponnese Wine Festival returns dynamically to Limassol, spotlighting the contemporary identity and strong momentum of Peloponnese wine.

On Monday, February 2, 2026, at Carob Mill, 25 selected wineries from Greece’s largest vineyard area will meet with wine professionals, hospitality representatives, journalists, and wine lovers in a full-day event dedicated to quality, terroir, and modern Greek winemaking.

Throughout the festival, visitors will have the opportunity to taste PDO and PGI wines from different regions of the Peloponnese, emblematic Greek grape varieties, as well as contemporary winemaking expressions that highlight the character, altitude, and microclimate of each area.

Masterclass with Sotiris Neofytidis, MS

As part of the event, a masterclass will be held by Sotiris Neofytidis MS, the only Master Sommelier in Cyprus.

The masterclass will be by invitation only and addressed exclusively to wine professionals, offering an in-depth exploration of Peloponnese wine through the international experience and perspective of a leading professional in the field.

Signature Picks – Open Tasting by Sotiris Neofytidis MS

From 14:00, a parallel activity titled “Signature Picks – Open Tasting by Sotiris Neofytidis MS” will take place. This is a free tasting of wines selected by Sotiris Neofytidis—labels that are signature expressions both for their producers and for the Peloponnese vineyard as a whole.

The experience will be delivered in a free tasting format, guided by professional sommeliers, and is open to both wine lovers and industry professionals.

The Cyprus Peloponnese Wine Festival is a key reference point for those wishing to discover the contemporary face of Greek wine, engage directly with winemakers, and follow the trends shaping the present and future of Greek winemaking.
