The Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC) will carry out scheduled power cuts in parts of the Paphos district on Saturday, September 19, 2026.
The power cuts are necessary to allow maintenance work to be carried out on the overhead medium-voltage network, according to an EAC announcement.
In Polemi, the electricity supply will be interrupted from 8am to 1pm.
In Stroumpi and Palia Theletra, the scheduled interruption will take place from 11am to 1pm.
EAC safety warning
The EAC said the interruptions may not last for the entire period specified.
For safety reasons, consumers should consider their installations to be live throughout the scheduled work.
The Authority apologised for any inconvenience caused, stressing that the work is necessary for network maintenance.
