Paphos e-scooter accident leaves 15-year-old seriously injured

A Paphos e-scooter accident has left a 15-year-old girl seriously injured after the electric scooter she was riding overturned in the community of Konia on Tuesday morning.

According to Sigma’s local correspondent, under circumstances still under investigation, the minor lost control of the scooter at around 9:30am, causing it to overturn and throw her to the ground.

She was transported to the Accident and Emergency Department of Paphos General Hospital, where she received first aid and remains hospitalised.

According to a medical report, she has sustained a head fracture, and her condition is being closely monitored by doctors.

The Paphos e-scooter accident remains under investigation.
