The Paphos Castle was illuminated in pink over the weekend, in the colours of Europa Donna, as part of an event held on the occasion of the organisation’s 17th Pan-European Conference. Europa Donna Cyprus Honorary President, Stella Kyriakides, delivered the message that “we can all make a difference for a better future for breast cancer.”
According to an announcement, Ms Kyriakides stated that doctors, scientists and policymakers gathered in Paphos for the conference to discuss issues affecting women in relation to breast cancer.
Breast cancer knows no borders, she said, noting that women from 47 countries, speaking different languages and coming from different cultures, took part in the event — “all united for one purpose: a better tomorrow for breast cancer.”
