Paphos: 2-year-old girl hospitalised after hit by e-scooter

A traffic accident occurred yesterday evening around 7:30 PM near the Medieval Castle in Kato Paphos when a 2-year-old Russian girl was hit by a passing electric scooter on the pedestrian path.

The child was walking with her parents on the seaside promenade of Poseidonos Avenue at the time.

Minor injuries reported

The girl sustained light injuries from the electric scooter operated by an unknown man.

She was initially taken to Paphos General Hospital and later transferred to Makarios Hospital in Nicosia for precautionary observation.

Police investigation ongoing

Paphos Traffic Department continues examinations into the scooter accident.
