Panathinaikos and Olympiacos both secured victories in the 9th round of the Euroleague, improving their records to 6-3.
Panathinaikos defeated Maccabi Tel Aviv 93-87 at the OAKA arena in a game where they were trailing for much of the time. They turned it around in the final stages with a strengthened defence, led by Kendrick Nunn (21 points), strong performance from Mathias Lessort (18 points), and three-pointers from Cedi Osman (12 points) and Juancho Hernangomez (12 points).
For Maccabi, standout player Roman Sorkin scored 21 points and had 7 rebounds.
Following this victory, Panathinaikos will travel to Italy to face Virtus on Friday at 21:30 in the 10th round.
