Pame Express suspension announced from 23 March

Cyprus Public Transport announced on Wednesday that the Pame Express service will be suspended starting Monday, 23 March 2026, citing a shortage of available drivers. The company emphasised that efforts are underway to find a solution and resume service as soon as possible.

Company statement and apology

In its statement, the company noted that the ongoing shortage of drivers forced the temporary halt, despite previous measures taken to prevent this outcome. Cyprus Public Transport expressed sincere apologies to passengers for the inconvenience caused by this necessary action.

Commitment to reliable service

The company confirmed that it remains committed to providing reliable public transport services and is actively seeking feasible solutions to resolve the issue and restore the Pame Express service at the earliest opportunity.
