One person arrested for arson case in Limassol

A person has been arrested by the police in connection with an investigation into a car arson case that took place on 20 October in Limassol, according to a statement from the Communications Branch.

Specifically, the individual was spotted shortly after 3 a.m. today, Monday, by a patrol from the Rapid Response Unit, moving suspiciously in an area of Limassol.

Upon being stopped for a check, it was confirmed that the man, aged 45, had an outstanding arrest warrant for a car arson case.

The Limassol CID is continuing its investigations, the statement concluded.
