NOW: Earthquake felt in Cyprus – Reports of 5.0 magnitude

An earthquake occurred on Wednesday morning off the coast of Turkey and was felt in Cyprus.

According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre, the earthquake, measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale, struck at around 11:15 a.m.

The earthquake was particularly felt in Nicosia. Initial reports indicate a magnitude of 5.0.
