Roadworks will close the junction of Famagusta Avenue and Kennedy Avenue for four months from Thursday, October 15, the Nicosia Municipality has announced.
Traffic will be diverted through a temporary junction equipped with traffic lights, which will be installed where Tryfonos Street meets Famagusta Avenue.
Traffic changes during roadworks
The closure is part of the “Improvement of Famagusta Avenue in Nicosia” project.
The municipality urged the public, particularly drivers, to exercise caution and follow the temporary road signs throughout the works.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time for their journeys and pay attention to the temporary traffic arrangements around the affected junction.
