A new AI-generated image was posted on Truth Social featuring Donald Trump on a golden inflatable lounger in the historic reflecting pool of the Lincoln Memorial.
In the post, the 79-year-old Trump is shown smiling, accompanied by Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Interior Secretary Doug Burgum. An unidentified woman, likely AI-generated, also appears wearing sunglasses and a bikini.
The Lincoln Memorial is currently undergoing a $1.5 million renovation project. Trump has pledged that repairs to leaks in the granite foundation will be completed in time for the nation’s 250th anniversary on July 4. He also criticized his predecessor, stating: “Interior Secretary Doug Burgum and I are working to fix the absolutely filthy water between the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument. This work was supposed to be done by the Biden administration, but ‘Sleepy Joe’ doesn’t know what ‘CLEAN’ or proper maintenance means,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
Meanwhile, the site was reportedly “vandalized” with graffiti reading “86 47,” which has previously been interpreted as a threatening message toward Trump.
