Ongoing regional tensions have led to Larnaca flight cancellations, affecting arrivals and departures at the airport, authorities report.
Flights affected today
From 07:00 to midnight today, the website of airport operator Hermes Airports reports that 26 arrivals at Larnaca Airport have been cancelled. In addition, 25 departures have been cancelled.
Middle East and Europe routes impacted
Flights to and from the Middle East, particularly Israel, have been affected. Since yesterday, cancellations have also impacted flights from European countries including Germany, the United Kingdom, and Austria.
Passengers are advised by Hermes Airports to contact their airline or travel agent before travelling to the airport to confirm the status of their flight.
