A multi-vehicle crash occurred on Wednesday morning on the Nicosia-Limassol highway.
Police reported that the left lane of the highway, heading towards Limassol, remains closed near the Agios Tychonas exit due to the accident.
Preliminary reports indicate that a truck and two other vehicles were involved in the collision. An ambulance rushed to the scene, transporting two injured people to hospital.
Authorities issue safety warning
Authorities are urging drivers to exercise extreme caution while travelling in the area and to follow any temporary traffic measures in place.
