A motorcyclist is fighting for his life in Larnaca General Hospital after a serious collision with an articulated lorry this morning.
The crash happened on the old Dromolaxia–Larnaca road.
Police say the lorry driver attempted a right turn onto the main road when the large-capacity motorcycle struck the vehicle side-on.
The impact threw the rider off. Paramedics rushed him to hospital where doctors describe his condition as critical.
Larnaca Traffic Police are at the scene examining evidence. Officers found the rider’s helmet.
The investigation continues.
