Mother complains about infant abuse at nursery school

Date:

A mother has reported abuse involving her 13-month-old baby boy, criticising the handling of her case by authorities.

According to her complaint, shared publicly, the school initially informed her that the child fell from his cot and sustained a bump on the back of his head. However, upon her arrival, the reality was far more serious, as the child had visible scratches on his face. “My husband went to report this to the police, but the officer suggested it was probably just a fall. He went to the school, spoke with the owner, and then reiterated to us that the child probably fell,” she explained.

She further stated that when attempting to involve authorities, police initially refused to accept her statement, arguing that the forensic examiner only examines cases involving deceased persons or sexual abuse.

It was only after intervention by the Welfare Office that the police agreed to take her statement.
