Mobile phone found in Demosthenous murder suspect’s possession

A mobile phone has been found in the possession of a suspect detained over the murder of Stavros Demosthenous, currently held at the Limassol Police Headquarters.

According to police, acting on information received, officers carried out a search in the suspect’s cell in recent days, during which they discovered the mobile phone.

Authorities are now investigating the circumstances under which the device reached the detainee, who remains in custody in connection with the high-profile Demosthenous murder case.
