Police authorities in Nicosia were mobilised following the discovery of a man’s body on a rooftop in the Parissinos area. According to initial reports, members of the police arrived at the scene promptly after being alerted to the discovery, and the area has since been cordoned off to preserve evidence.
Forensic examination underway
When asked about the involvement of a medical examiner, a representative from the Press Office confirmed that, as expected, a forensic pathologist has been called to the scene to conduct an autopsy. “The process is part of standard procedure to determine the cause of death,” the spokesperson stated.
