Limassol stolen goods case: police find large haul

Police in Limassol discovered a large quantity of suspected stolen goods during a house search on Thursday, 11 September 2025. The operation was carried out by members of the Limassol Crime Prevention Unit (OPE) following an intelligence assessment.

The search targeted the residence of a 42-year-old man. Inside, officers seized a wide range of items, including:

  • bicycles and electric scooters
  • power and construction tools
  • electronic devices such as laptops and tablets
  • musical instruments
  • and various other objects

Arrest for illegal possession

The man was unable to provide adequate explanations regarding the lawful ownership of the property. He was arrested on the spot for the offence of unlawful possession of property.

The Limassol stolen goods case is now under investigation by the Limassol Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
