Limassol robbery arrest after attack on food delivery driver

Police have arrested a 25-year-old woman in connection with a robbery committed against a food delivery driver in Limassol.

According to Cyprus Police, the suspect was arrested on Tuesday on the basis of a court-issued warrant, as part of the investigation into the incident.

The incident in Erimi

The case concerns a complaint filed by a 24-year-old food delivery driver, who reported that on the night of 12 January 2026, while delivering an order in the Erimi area of Limassol, he was signalled to stop by an individual claiming to receive the order.

The person allegedly pushed the delivery driver and managed to steal a sum of money. At the same time, four additional individuals approached, took the food order, and fled the scene together in an unknown direction.

Investigations into the robbery are continuing, with the case being handled by the Episkopi Police Station.
