Two brothers, aged 30 and 23, wanted for a 36-year-old man’s murder attempt on 20 December 2025 in Independence Street, appear in Limassol District Court Wednesday. British Bases Police located them in Ormideia waters on 3 January.
With Port and Naval Police aid, their vessel was intercepted for arrest. Bases Police transferred them to Limassol TAE Tuesday for questioning; detention order sought tomorrow.
Murder attempt Details
The murder attempt occurred around 19:00 as victim sat in a cafe in Limassol. Assailants first used electric shock devices, then one stabbed his left shoulder blade with a sharp object.
The 36-year-old reached private Limassol hospital by ambulance, confirming shoulder wound.
