Limassol: Man with knife storms bakery, steals cash and gold chain

Armed robbery in Agios Athanasios

A lone man armed with a knife stormed a bakery in Agios Athanasios, Limassol, just before midnight on Sunday 7 December 2025.

Around 23:30 the robber entered the premises, threatened the cashier with the blade and forced her to hand over an undisclosed amount of cash.

Before fleeing, he ripped a gold chain from the woman’s neck.

No injuries were reported.

Limassol CID continues the investigation.
