Limassol: Key avenue to close for building demolition

A section of Omonias Avenue in Limassol will remain closed today, Thursday, 13 August, due to demolition works on an abandoned building.

The southbound lane of Omonias Avenue, from its junction with Vasileos Pavlou Street, will be closed from 5:00 am until 8:00 pm.

According to Limassol Municipality, the closure is necessary to ensure the safety of pedestrians and passing vehicles.

Drivers urged to follow signs

Demolition works on the abandoned building on Omonias Avenue are continuing today, with traffic diversions marked by road signs at the site.

Drivers are urged to exercise particular caution and follow the relevant road signage.

Limassol Municipality thanked the public for their understanding and cooperation.
