Fire breaks out in Germasogeia property
A house fire broke out on Tuesday afternoon in an auxiliary residence in the Germasogeia area of Limassol district.
Two fire engines were dispatched to the scene, with firefighters managing to bring the blaze under control.
Damage caused by flames and smoke
The Limassol house fire caused damage to electrical appliances and equipment due to the flames and heat, while smoke affected the rest of the property.
At the time of the incident, the occupants were not present in the residence.
Faulty electrical device identified as cause
Following investigations, the fire appears to have been caused by a malfunction in an electrical device.
