Limassol citizens intervened around 2am on Wednesday to stop a youth attempting a motorcycle theft in the city.
Police arriving at the scene found that the suspect was a 19-year-old, who admitted that together with another person he had stolen the motorcycle.
He was arrested under a court warrant and taken into custody.
Investigations into the motorcycle theft are continuing under the responsibility of Agios Ioannis police station.
