Police have arrested three people aged 17, 21 and 22 in connection with an assault in Limassol involving conspiracy to commit a felony and causing grievous bodily harm. The suspects were detained last night under court warrants to assist with investigations into offences committed on 12 February 2026.
The complaint was filed in the early hours of 13 February by a 46-year-old Limassol resident. He told police that while driving on a road in the city on the evening of 12 February, a vehicle carrying unknown individuals blocked his path.
Attack reported to police
According to the report, the occupants exited their vehicle, attacked him, and struck him on various parts of his body before fleeing the scene.
The victim later visited a private hospital in Limassol, where doctors found a fractured nasal bone along with bruises and abrasions. He received first aid treatment and was discharged.
Suspects identified during probe
As part of the ongoing investigation into the Limassol assault, evidence emerged linking the three arrested individuals to the case.
The Limassol Criminal Investigation Department continues its inquiries.
