Disruptions linked to Middle East situation

A total of 45 flights were cancelled on Thursday to and from Larnaca Airport, as the ongoing situation in the Middle East continues to affect regional air travel.

According to the arrivals and departures board on the Hermes Airports website, the Larnaca flight cancellations include 21 arrivals and 24 departures scheduled for today.

Airlines have adjusted operations due to developments in the wider Middle East region, leading to schedule disruptions and the suspension of several routes.

Passengers urged to check before travelling

Passengers with planned journeys are advised to contact their airline or travel agent before heading to the airport to confirm the status of their flights.

Authorities stress that the Larnaca flight cancellations may affect travel schedules throughout the day, and travellers should verify updated information to avoid unnecessary delays at the airport.

The disruptions highlight how the evolving situation in the Middle East continues to impact aviation routes and operations across the region.
