Larnaca armed robbery sees cash and phones stolen

Incident in rural area

An unknown man carried out an armed robbery at a residence in the Larnaca district yesterday, threatening the two occupants with a knife.

Around 17:30, the suspect knocked on the door of a prefabricated home in a rural area. When the residents opened the door, he pushed them aside and stole cash and two mobile phones.

Residents unharmed

The victims, aged 73 and 66, were not physically injured but attended Larnaca General Hospital as a precaution.

Both were examined and discharged shortly afterwards. Authorities reported that the stolen mobile phones were later recovered in the vicinity of the property.

Investigation ongoing

The Aradippou Police Station is currently investigating the case as an armed robbery. Residents in the area are reminded to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
