Kulichenko wins 7th place at World Athletics Indoor Championships

Cyprus’ Champion Elena Kulichenko won the 7th place in the women’s high jump final at the 2025 World Athletics Indoor Championships in Nanjing, China, the Cyprus Amateur Association of Athletics (CAAA) said in a post on Sunday morning.

The Association noted that after finishing 7th at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Kulichenko has recorded another excellent performance, as she is now the 7th World Indoor Champion in 2025.

It also said that at the age of 22 years old, she has secured the top position for a Cypriot athlete in the World Indoor Championships.

“Congratulations Elena Kulichenko and Ryan Bailey for a very good performance in China. You have made us proud once again. Well done and wishes for many more successes,” the post concluded.
