Kremlin calls US peace plan efforts a serious process

The Kremlin today described ongoing diplomatic efforts surrounding the US plan to end the war in Ukraine as a serious process. This comes ahead of the scheduled visit to Moscow next week by the US envoy.

Peskov highlights importance of the process

“The process is underway. It is a serious process,” Dmitry Peskov, spokesman for the Russian presidency, told a journalist. “For now, there is probably nothing more important than this,” he added.
